Wojcehowicz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Margaret (Marge) Rae Wojcehowicz, age 71, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 7, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Marge was born on August 2, 1952.\u00a0 She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy \u201cJean\u201d (Krebs) Wojcehowicz.\u00a0 She grew up on Roosevelt Road and led the neighborhood kids into many mischievous adventures.\u00a0 Marge attended St. Thomas grade school, St. Joseph\u2019s high school and graduated from Tremper High School in 1971.<\/p>\n<p>After high school, Marge played city league softball and was a great shortstop for Dick\u2019s Derby team.\u00a0 She was employed at American Motors and in 1979, she decided to change careers and joined the Army.\u00a0 She was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado and spent some time in Germany.\u00a0 After her career in the Army, she moved to the Rice Lake, WI area and worked various manufacturing jobs.\u00a0 She moved back to Kenosha 25 years ago to be closer to her family.<\/p>\n<p>Marge was very active with the Polish Legion of American Verterans (PLAV) and became the first female Commander of the Post.\u00a0 She spent many hours helping local veterans.\u00a0 For many years, Marge was an election poll worker in Kenosha.\u00a0 She enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packer games and had her own opinion on why the teams lost a game.\u00a0 Marge recently found a new love for Gaelic music and really enjoyed trying new recipes.\u00a0 She also spent time growing her \u201cinside apartment\u201d herb garden.\u00a0 Every month Marge looked forward to having lunch with her cousins.\u00a0 She enjoyed talking about childhood memories and joking with everyone.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her brother, George (Ellie) Becker and sister, Roxane (Thomas) Kriederman; brother-in-law, Frank Lamb; nephews, David (Donna) Becker, Daniel (Lisa) Becker, Darren (Angie) Becker, James (Autumn) Becker, Randy Lamb, and Todd Lamb; great nephews and nieces, David, Steven, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Charley, Alec, Reagan, Layni and Clayton; and special family members, Kris (Kevin) Flaa, Jefferson, GA, Mark Kriederman, and Bonnie Fronek.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Carol McConnell, Debra Lamb; grandparents, George and Dorothy Krebs and Frank and Martha Wojcehowicz.\u00a0 Margaret had a large family and was preceded in death by many uncles, aunts and cousins.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>A committal service honoring the life of Margaret will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm, in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, 21425 Spring Street, #D, Union Grove, WI.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Veteran\u2019s organization of your choice.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Margaret (Marge) Rae Wojcehowicz, age 71, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 7, 2024.
