Franklin Stockwell, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away on July 20, 2024, just a few days shy of his 86th birthday. He was born in Pardeeville, WI, on July 25, 1938, to a family that would shape him into the hardworking man he became.<\/p>\n
Franklin served his country by joining the U.S. Navy.<\/p>\n
A dedicated auto body mechanic, Franklin spent his career working at Reed Randle Ford, where he gained a reputation for his attention to detail and skillful craftsmanship. He took pride in his work and was beloved by both his colleagues and customers.<\/p>\n
Franklin is survived by his wife, Cathy Stockwell; their daughter, Christina; their son-in-law Walter; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Kayleigh; and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Franklin is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Florence (Otto) Stockwell; his daughter, Robin Stockwell; and his brother, Raymond Stockwell.<\/p>\n
