Getschman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thomas Getschman, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Wauwatosa, WI surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 21, 1942, to Paul and Stephanie (Lapszys) Getschman.\u00a0 Thomas\u2019s life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.<\/p>\n<p>During his time on this earth, Thomas touched the hearts of all who knew him with his kindness, generosity, and teasing sense of humor. He will be remembered for his devotion, providing security, stability, and support to his family and his ability to always bring a smile to those around him throughout his life.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia Getschman; his children, Anne (Ethan) Mank, Thomas (Kelly), Timothy and Anthony (Brittany).\u00a0 He also leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of his grandchildren, Ben, Abby, Arden, Claire, Mara, Jacob and Nikolaus, cousin Mark and all who knew him.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his aunts, Helen and Lee; his uncle, Ed and cousin, Tim.<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>Funeral services honoring Thomas\u2019 life will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 County Rd G, Caledonia, WI.<\/p>\n<p>Interment will follow in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation for Thomas will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Crohn\u2019s and Colitis Foundation, 733 Third Ave, Suite 510, New York, NY 10017 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org\/<\/a> \u00a0or Pink Umbrella Theater Company, P.O.
