It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Bragado Vizcarra, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend.\u00a0 He passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, unexpectedly and tragically.\u00a0 Born on August 2, 1980, in Manila, Philippines to Crisente and Isabelita Vizcarra, Stephen was the second eldest son.<\/p>\n
Stephen had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did.\u00a0 He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, spending countless hours on the open road with the wind in his hair and a smile on his face.\u00a0 He adored his faithful companion, his dog Kobe, who was always by his side through thick and thin.\u00a0 Stephen lived his life making friends and keeping them close to his heart.\u00a0 A true food lover, sharing his love of enjoying a meal with friends and family.<\/p>\n
Stephen\u2019s greatest love was his most wonderful wife Nancy, whom he cherished and adored with all his heart.\u00a0 Known to always wanting to be by her side and never being without her for too long, Stephen will be forever watching over Nancy.\u00a0 Their love was a true testament to the power of love and commitment.<\/p>\n
Despite his many passions and interests, Stephen\u2019s unwavering faith in God was the foundation of his life.\u00a0 He lived his life with kindness and humility, always putting others before himself and never seeking recognition for his many selfless acts.<\/p>\n
Stephen will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.\u00a0 His kind soul, warm smile, and gentle spirit will forever be remembered.<\/p>\n
Sadly, Stephen leaves behind his wonderful wife, Nancy Vizcarra; beloved mother, Isabelita Vizcarra; his brothers, Sherwin Vizcarra (wife Janet Wang, son Jonathan Vizcarra), Mark Vizcarra (wife Joy Alegria-Vizcarra, daughter Julia Vizcarra, son Nathan Vizcarra).<\/p>\n
Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Crisente Vizcarra Jr.; his grandfather, Crisente Vizcarra Sr.; and his grandmother Pilar Hermogenes.<\/p>\n
Funeral services honoring Stephen’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.<\/p>\n
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church (Little Flower Parish), 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan, IL.<\/p>\n
Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for Mass.<\/p>\n
