It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold E. Strunk, who passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin.\u00a0 Born on February 16, 1929, he was the son of the late Erhardt and Melinda (Hinke) Strunk.\u00a0 He was a graduate of Colby High School.<\/p>\n
On February 19, 1948, he was united in marriage to Joan Tremper.<\/p>\n
He enjoyed golf and bowling, and coaching girls softball for Kenosha City league and was an avid fan of the Brewers and Packers; but most of all, he loved spending time with family.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his son, Howard (Teresa) Strunk; grandchildren, Amy (Tim) Evers, Matthew Freese, Sara Torstenson and Stephanie (Scott) Paulsboe and great grandchildren, Brock, Braden and Brielle Evers, Drake, Oliver and Emilia Torstenson, Paxton and Tilly Paulsboe.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Edith Strunk; daughters, Beverly Cronin and Lynette Frieman; grandsons, William Cronin and Mark Parker; and siblings, Walter, Arnold, Ann, William and Margaret.<\/p>\n

Funeral services with for Harold\u2019s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.<\/p>\n
Inurnment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park at a later date.<\/p>\n
A visitation for Harold will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
