Crain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rita Crain, 92 years old of Salem, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Archwood Assisted Living.\u00a0 Rita was born on October 4, 1932 in Redford Township, Michigan to Charles and Eva Fuhst. She was one of eleven children.\u00a0 Rita graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia, Michigan and attended college at Wayne State University and Lansing Community College studying nursing. Rita was married to James Elvin Crain on January 17, 1957.\u00a0 Most of Rita\u2019s life was spent in Michigan where she became a fan of Michigan State University sports.\u00a0 In 1999 she moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin and in 2021 to Salem, Wisconsin.\u00a0 Rita loved sewing, baking, reading, gardening, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Rita is survived by her son, James (Sandra) Crain of Beaumont, Texas and her daughter, Cassandra (Craig) Carlson of Salem, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Kelly Richardson, Kimberly Mathews, Courtney Crain, Alexis Carlson, Gavin Carlson, Connor Carlson, and great grandson, Talan Richardson.\u00a0 She also leaves behind several beloved friends.<\/p>\n<p>The family would like to thank the staff of Archwood Assisted Living and St. Croix Hospice for Rita\u2019s care.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Informaci\u00f3n del servicio<\/h3>\n<p>No funeral services will be held per Rita\u2019s request.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rita Crain, 92 years old of Salem, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Archwood Assisted Living.\u00a0 Rita was born on October 4, 1932 in Redford Township, Michigan to Charles and Eva Fuhst.
