From an early age, Tommie taught her children about their extended family, their Italian heritage and their religion. She showed them how fortunate they were to have each other, a father who worked hard every day for them and encouraged each of her children to be independent thinkers. Mary Lou Studer-curtinThomasina and I were classmates at St Thomas Aquinas and I haven't seen her since graduation day in June, 1946. I moved to Michigan the following week. We had planned to go to St Catherine's in Racine but my parents decided to move. I often thought of her and what a good friend and great person she was. I had hoped to get together with her to chat about our families and lives since grade school. RIP good friend. Till we meet again. Mary Lou

Gina, Sophia and Julia WilsonKathy/Luigi/Valentina, Tom/Joan, Gina/Bill, Aldo/Dawn and families - We are so shocked and saddened by the loss of our beloved Thomasina. Even as I write this I can't believe she's gone. Seems ironic how best friends could lose their mothers so close together, and how best friends could lose their grandmothers so close together. We are so grateful for all the times we spent together through the years, and all the memories we made. Thank you so much for sharing "Nanna" with us! Tommie was such a bright spirit, with such joy, faith, and zest for life. She was also one of the most down to earth, and most thoughtful persons we have ever known. She shared in all of our joys, and was the first person to call us in times of trouble or grief. She offered wise counsel, comfort, and humor when needed, and always made us feel like we were part of the family. What a wonderful human being you were blessed to call "Mom"! Now I know we can be comforted by the knowledge that our parents have all reunited, and Nanna has had her face to face meeting with her beloved Padre Pio. To all of you we offer our prayers, condolences and love. To Nanna we say, Thank you for everything, and we will see you again... xo

Julie, Kurt, Donald & Christina KochGina, Tom, Aldo and Kathy & families There are no words to express our sadness over the loss of such a wonderful lady. There is now a very special angel looking down on everyone. She always showed how important family is and in the time we knew her I learned so much about raising children. Your Dad and our heavenly father were waiting for her and she was able to take the journey with her brother. You are all in our thoughts and prayers and we all here for you for anything you need. You have all been so kind and welcoming to our family and it is truly appreciated. We love you all.
