Shawn Gillies, age 50, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lake Forest, IL on December 28, 1969, he was the son of Danny Gillies and Susan Ziebell.
On July 16, 2019, he was united in marriage to Michelle (nee: Moe) Jones in Las Vegas, NV.
He was employed as a Painter for Townsend Construction.
Shawn enjoyed playing guitar, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Gilles; his stepson, Anthony Jones; his parents, Danny Gillies and Susan Ziebell; his siblings, Dan (Debbie), Amy (Tony Schultz) and Ki (Irene) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil and Marjorie Slobodzian.

Funeral services honoring Shawn’s life will be held privately.
