julio 10, 2026The best day of fishing ever. Bob,Robert, and I were fishing for white bass in Oshkosh. Bob had us anchor in his special spot, under the bridge. He set my rig up and said cast. Every cast caught a fish! About a half an hour in Bob noticed a loop in my line. He said ,” Don’t put any bait on and cast out as far as you can. We will cut the line and re-tie your hook.” Well I did as instructed cast it way out, cut the line, and proceeded to pull that line in as Bob tied my new hook. I realized I had another fish on. No bait, no lure, and no pole and I still caught a fish! Bob taught me how to filet fish that night and then gifted me with my own filet knife, which I still treasure. Thanks for the memories, Bob. You will be missed.

julio 8, 2026I’m so sorry for your loss.
Bob was my neighbor for about 20 years. He taught me how to design and care for my landscape; skills that ultimately allowed me to help him with his yard as he got a bit older. (Very strategic, Bob!) I made him a stepping stone walkway shortcut to my garden so we could talk smack while we were gardening. Miss you and Love you Bob…

julio 8, 2026I grew up next door. We were a little rambunctious growing up but Bob was always humble and kind. Spent a lot of hours casting for salmon from the shore of Lake Michigan. I really enjoyed the campfires and happy times.
