Robert G. Jackson, age 71, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born on December 17, 1944, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Henry G. and Edna M. (Boese) Jackson.
On June 12, 1965, he was united in marriage to Janice Pallister at Bethany Lutheran Church. They were blessed with three children and celebrated 50 years of marriage this past June.
Bob was employed as a Detective with the Kenosha Police Department, retiring in 1998 with 30 years of service. A public servant by trade, his true passion was wood working and was a carpenter in his spare time.
Bob was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He enjoyed relaxing at his cottage in Boulder Junction, WI and visiting with his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Jan; their three children, Keith (Shelly) Jackson, Kristen (Mark) Schoeni and Karen (Russ) Evans and five grandchildren, Nicole, Wylie and Ryan Jackson and Benjamin and Katharine Schoeni. Bob is further survived by his brothers Henry Jackson, Roger (Mary) Jackson and brothers in law, Robert (Carol) Flint and Rodney Flint.
Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Joycelin Metten.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1520 Green Bay Rd., Somers. Entombment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

Darcy PucciI will miss seeing Bob at the cabin....but I know he has been reunited with many loved ones and friends....I am sure that he and Pooch will be fishing the opening of Walleye season together....and maybe a few beers too!
