Robert "Bob" Alan LoCicero, a caring son, steadfast brother, devoted husband, loving father, loyal friend, and creative craftsman, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Bob was born on September 17, 1945, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Jasper and Theresa (Bisciglia) LoCicero. He attended McKinley Elementary and Junior High Schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School with the Class of 1963. On December 17, 1966, he married Nana Simons, the holder of his heart, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Together, they built a loving home and shared nearly six decades of marriage, raising three children: Nicole, LeeAnn, and Robert "Vic" LoCicero.
Bob was a skilled tradesman who completed his apprenticeship and earned certification as a journeyman painter. He began his career with Ruffalo Decorating Company before dedicating more than 30 years of service as a painter with the Kenosha Unified School District. He took great pride in his work and was known for his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others.
Bob embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. He loved riding his e-bike, golfing, bowling, gardening, dancing to the music of the 1950s and 1960s, traveling, and searching for hidden treasures in thrift stores. A devoted sports fan, he faithfully cheered for the Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers, and University of Wisconsin sports teams. One of his happiest places was Lost Lake in St. Germain, Wisconsin, where he created treasured memories with family and friends. A highly creative thinker and natural inventor, Bob never let physical limitations keep him from enjoying the activities he loved. When bowling and golfing became difficult, he designed and built Wonderstick Bowling and PutterBall so he could continue competing and laughing alongside his friends. His creativity also found expression through arts and crafts, where he handcrafted unique sports-themed bottle pours and clocks that reflected both his imagination and love of sports. Bob found happiness in spending time with his family and friends, and his greatest pride was the family he and Nana built together. More than anything, Bob will be remembered for his generosity, warm smile, outgoing personality, and the genuine kindness he extended to everyone he met.
Bob is lovingly survived by his wife, Nana LoCicero; his children, Nicole, LeeAnn, and Robert "Vic" LoCicero; his brothers, Richard (Elizabeth "Betty Jo") LoCicero and Jasper "Jay" LoCicero; his sisters-in-law, Nancy LoCicero, Susan (Arthur) Beuchter and Pamela (Michael) Barnes; his extended family, and countless friends and acquaintances.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Guy LoCicero; his parents-in-law, Robert and Edith Simons; his brother-in-law, Galen Simons; and his beloved pets throughout the years. Bob's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, the creativity he demonstrated, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held in September. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The American Heart Association, https://www.heart.org
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, especially those in the Neurology ICU and Advanced Heart Failure Therapies Clinic, as well as all his healthcare providers. Their exceptional compassion, unwavering dedication, and outstanding care will always be remembered.

julio 17, 2026Bob was our neighbor on 109th st He will forever be in my dept Because of his quick thinking, I have my youngest son. Bob saved him from the pond behind his house. That as a night I will never forget, I don't even remember if I formally thanked him, He is a true hero, God bless you Bob and I know God has a special place waiting for you!

I am thinking of you Nana. I worked with Bob at Jefferson. When he painted the school. And just glad to see eachother. We had nice Conversations. And I am sure you will fine memories. julio 9, 2026Please accept our condolences for the passing of Bob. Enjoyed many good times at his game of putterball and stick bowling. Often added new rules while playing which added more fun to the games.He will certainly be missed.Bob was a great friend and enticed me to bowl with him because of his Wonder Stick invention. You are spot on!
Even though we are deeply saddened by Bobby's passing we cannot help but think of all the wonderful times our families have shared together. Even seeing his picture made me smile. It reminded me of that quote from the movie It's a Wonderful Life: "No man is a failure who has friends."
Gone maybe, but never ever forgotten.

julio 9, 2026Bowled with Bob in the early 80’s along with Gino DeBartolo and Tim Finke. Bob always had a great sense of humor. Lost touch with Bob after bowling. Wish we could have gotten together but careers sent us in different directions. RIP Bob and our condolences to his family.

Was thrilled to stop in “Uncle Franks’s” shop to reminisce and tell stories about coming into the shoe shop to visit his Uncle Frank. I was happy to see him come in for visits.
