Joan F. Young, age 75 of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at United Hospital System–Kenosha Hospital Campus.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on November 6, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Leo and Virginia (Johnson) Godlewski. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Bradford High School.
For over 20 years, Joan was employed as an administrative assistant with Dayton Residential Care Facility.
She enjoyed fishing and was an avid flower gardener. Joan used her artistic skills and green thumb to plant the beautiful flower boxes at Shagbark Apartments.
Joan is survived by her loving daughter, Melissa (Brandon Stanley) Young; and her siblings, Diane, Kay, Mary, Dorothy, Tom, Patsy, Susie and Peggy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter, David and Robert.

Funeral Services honoring Joan’s life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Private inurnment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
