James S. Zaucha
octubre 22, 1968 -
enero 5, 2022

James (Jim) Steven Zaucha waited not a moment to run into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2022 after a very brief illness. Jim was born on October 22, 1968 to Edwin and Gertrude Zaucha and grew up in Mundelein IL. He graduated from Illinois State University in 1991 with a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology / SEQ Construction. Jim accepted Jesus into his heart in 1996 while attending Cornerstone Community Church. His passion to live for the Lord was evident to family and friends. Jim was an avid fisherman and loved to be on the water … small lakes or Lake Michigan … it didn’t matter, as long as he was catching fish! At the time of Jim’s passing, he was employed by Allstate Insurance Company, Claims.
Jim married the love of his life (Judy Ptasienski) on July 11, 1998. Their marriage and their commitment to Jesus were their gift to each other. Both Jim and Judy were members of the Worship Team at Cornerstone … Judy sang and Jim played the drums, both using their gifts for the Lord.
Jim is survived by his wife, Judy; his mother, Gertrude; his brother, Gary (Sugar) Zaucha; his sister Nancy (Gary) Grede and many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Edwin; his brother Russell (Sharon) Zaucha and his brother Dennis (Kathie) Zaucha.
Jim and Judy’s deepest prayer is that God will use Jim’s passing and the miraculous stories of God’s goodness in their lives to bring others to faith in Jesus.
Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.”

Jammie RevellMy deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Jim. It was a great pleasure to have worked with Jim at Allstate. We had many conversations on our claims and he would always end the call with "you take care". He was one of the most pleasant, caring and upbeat to talk to and always encouraged me to do more. Wishing his family and friends courage and peace during this time of mourning.
