Harry F. Ernst, age 72, of Kenosha died on Monday, January 5, 2015 at UHS- St. Catherine’s Campus.
Born on September 8, 1942 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Raymond and Mary (Gacioch) Ernst.
On September 23, 1967 in Elmwood Park, IL, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Huch. That marriage later dissolved. On August 8, 2009 in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Lynn Martell-Hawkins.
Harry was employed with S & C Electric Company on Ridge Avenue in Chicago as a Supervisor in their Liquid Fuse Division.
He attended Great Lakes Church and was an avid Packer fan and a car buff. He enjoyed attending various car shows and races. Above all, Harry’s family meant the world to him. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Ernst; his two children, Diana and Brian (Nicole) Ernst; his two step-children, Jamie (Todd) Busman and Steven (Jill) Hawkins; his nine grandchildren, Nathan, Cole, Benjamin, Samantha, Stephen, Haley, Drew, Benjamin and Pearl; his sister, Geraldine Taylor, and his former wife, Phyllis
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Gary Taylor and Fred Huch.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
