Dennis Wallee Williams, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Kenosha Place Senior Living.
Born in Waukegan, IL on January 15, 1944, he was the son of Harvey and Dorothy (Schad) Williams. He was a graduate of Grayslake High School.
On December 22, 1979, Dennis was united in marriage to Cynthia Ernsting.
Dennis worked as a field supervisor for Green Giant, DelMonte and Aunt Nellies.
He was an alderman and the former mayor of Montello, WI.
Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and just being outdoors. Most of all, Dennis loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Cyndy; his children, Peter Williams, Cindy Ellis, Scott (Colleen) Ernsting and Tim (Belinda) Ernsting; his grandchildren, Amanda, Bryan, Kaity, Chris, John, Bob, Matt, Jackie, Tyler and Scottie and his great grandchildren, Luke, Emma, Lucy, Madison, Audrey and Cole.
Along with his parents Harvey and Dorothy, Dennis was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth.

Ron and Joann ErtnerCindy and family: saddened to hear of the passing of Dennis. He was often in our thoughts, as we fondly remember the many wonderful years as neighbors in Montello. The stories often focus on Dennis, and his humor. He had a huge heart and and bigger than life personality. I know we have lost contact but our thoughts and prayers are with you in these times of grief.
