Betty G. Zdarko, age 83 of Pleasant Prairie died on Thursday, November 28, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center.

Born in Chicago, IL on October 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Janda) Allman.

On July 19, 1957 in Milwaukee, she was united in marriage to John Zdarko. Sadly, after 46 years together, he preceded her in death on November 9, 2003.

For over 20 years, Betty was employed with Abbott Laboratories.

Betty enjoyed quilting, reading and playing pai gow poker.

She devoted her life to her family. Many lifelong memories were made during her travels to Las Vegas with her family.

She will always be remembered by her children, Keith (Kathy) Gregg of Menasha, WI , Kenneth (Nancy) Gregg of Beach Park, IL, Kristen (Al) Selecky of Lake Vila, IL, Susan (Mary Furst) Zdarko of Sacramento, CA and Sharyl Schneider of Bristol; her sister, Karen (Marshall) Duer; her brother, Jack (Jane) Allman; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott) Dementer, Christopher (Anita) Gregg, Timothy (Trish) Gregg, Eric Gregg, Lindsay Gregg, Kevin Gregg, Brett Small, Joanna Small and Meredith (Chuck) Dapsis; and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Duane Allman.
