Fernie L. Klimpen, age 86, of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully at home with her son and daughter by her side on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
She was born to Ruby and William Stuck on May 6, 1939 in LaCrosse, WI.
She attended LaCrosse, WI schools. Fernie then moved to Chicago, IL; then to Kenosha where she married Robert Klimpen. They had two children, Kimberly Klimpen and Kirk Klimpen.
She worked for the Alcohol and Drug Council for many years, then went to work for Northpoint Achievement Center until retirement.
She loved her yearly fishing trips with her sister and her family. She always loved her Vegas trips with her daughter and sister and family.
Fernie is survived by her son and daughter and very loved grand dog, River. She is also survived by her cousin Kathy Betz (from Minnesota) and many nieces and nephews.
Fernie was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Milton Saewert and her sister, Corky Knight.
Private inurnment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park at a later date.
