Jeanette L. (nee Nevlida) (Brichacek) Glos, 92, passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Kenosha Place in Kenosha, WI, surrounded by her loving family and caring staff.
Jeanette was born on March 23, 1933 in Chicago, IL, to Gustav and Estelle Nevlida.
Jeanette graduated from Harrison High School in Chicago, IL and went on to earn a nursing degree from Hinsdale Hospital School of Nursing and an associate’s degree from the College of DuPage. She started her career as a nurse at Hinsdale Hospital and after retirement enjoyed working as a nurse with young children and older adults.
Jeanette married George F. Brichacek Jr. on October 21, 1953 in Chicago, IL. The couple had four children and raised their family in Downers Grove, IL. George passed away on March 3, 1993. Jeanette later married Clarence Glos, February 14, 1999. Clarence passed away on June 23, 2023.
Jeanette was a creative artist. She enjoyed playing the flute, knitting, painting, sculpting, and cooking. Most of all, Jeanette was devoted to her family and the church.
Jeanette is survived by her children, George F. (Annette) Brichacek III, in Carol Stream, IL, Glenn B. (Julie) Brichacek in Magnolia, DE, Gaylen L. Brichacek in Highland, IL, and Ginger A. (Rick DeLaat) Locke in Kenosha, WI; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services honoring Jeanette’s life will be held privately. She will be laid to rest at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien, IL.
