It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Allen, who left us on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Avina on 32nd. He was born on January 12, 1957, in South Milwaukee, WI to the late Caddith and Eleanor (Krawczyk) Allen. He was a graduate of South Milwaukee High School.
Paul was a dedicated employee of Fireside Restaurant, where he worked as a pizza maker for over 40 years.
He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, attending concerts, and spending time with animals. Above all, Paul cherished his family, who meant everything to him. He was the kind of person who always offered a listening ear, a comforting shoulder to lean on, and a reason to smile. Paul loved deeply and unconditionally, and his kindness, laughter, and compassion will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Melinda (Brian) Clinton; niece, Nicole; nephew, Justin; friend Jim, many great nieces and nephews and his cat, Zarya.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Allen and dear friends, Gloria and Jay.
Memorial services honoring Paul’s life will be held privately.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your dad. After reading his obituary, it became so clear where your beautiful heart comes from, Melinda. I found myself smiling through the tears because I could see so much of him reflected in you. His kindness, his love for animals, his appreciation for music, and the way he touched the lives of others are qualities you carry so naturally every day.
What a remarkable legacy he leaves behind—not only in the memories he created, but in the person you have become. The greatest tribute to a parent is often found in the character of their children, and I have no doubt he was incredibly proud of you.
Brian, my heart goes out to you as well as you walk beside Melinda through this difficult time. I hope you both find comfort in the love of those who care so deeply about you, the stories you share, and the countless moments that keep his spirit alive.
Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. May his memory continue to bring you strength, peace, and even moments of unexpected joy as you remember the incredible man he was.
