Bryce Robert Martin, age 32 of Kenosha, lost his long battle with the disease of addiction on Monday, April 25, 2016.
He was born in Kenosha on January 9, 1984 and was the son of Bob and Theresa (Connelly) Martin. Bryce attended local schools and was a 2002 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a minor in Professional Writing from U.W.-Parkside.
At the time of his death, Bryce was employed with Retail Fixture in Racine. He was previously employed as a Polysomnographic Technologist with United Hospital System and as a deliveryman with Flowers by Joseph.
Bryce will always be remembered for his charming personality and a smile that could light up the room. The family would like to extend their appreciation to all of Bryce’s friends for the love and support they showed him.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Theresa Martin; his loving sister, Caitlin Martin; his paternal grandmother, Grace Martin; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alvin Martin; and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Connelly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.

Michelle CastileIt has certainly taken me some time to get here, however with counseling a great support system and my sheer will to finally except this Great great loss and gain some understanding, i have to wish you all strength, courage and life. i apologize but it has been of late that ive finally come to terms w this magnitude of loss for myself, i just didnt want to face or come to terms with this being real, but watching ALL of you live life to the fullest and knowing those smiles are well deserved, i need and want you to know how comforted and strong you make me, as i KNOW where Bryce got it from, i love you all Bob, Theresa and Caitlyn. May happiness, growth and love continue to radiate from your ever so strong hearts. I miss and LOVE him dearly, however the time has come so i may smile and live w acceptance. It was and will be along road but i look forward to this adventure as I know he's always with me and yous. Deepest Condolences Michelle Castile . He was and is MY EVERYTHING.. SueYou don't know me but I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. We experienced a similar loss of our son to that horrible disease so know the pain you are feeling. As the weeks go by, try to remember Bryce as the boy he was instead of the man he became. Also, forgive yourself. I am sure you did everything you could to help him. I think you took the first step by admitting his disease. So many do not. Prayers are with you. Sue
