David O. Persson, age 57 of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Hospice Alliance’s Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie, with family by his side.
Born in Belvidere, IL on December 30, 1958, he was the son of Howard and Shirley (Yerk) Persson.
On June 12, 1982, he was united in marriage to Cindy Housner.
Dave was an employee with The City of Kenosha for 24 years.
He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and grilling.
Dave is survived by his wife, Cindy; his two sons, David (Samantha) and Jonathon (Corrie) Persson; his three cherished grandchildren, Jack, Lucas and Hank; his mother, Shirley Persson; his siblings, Paul (Klaudia) Persson and Carla (Steve) Smith; and his father and mother-in-law, John and Nancy Housner
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Ray Persson.

Funeral services honoring David’s life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Private inurnment will take place.
