Jane M. Gyurina, age 58 of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Kindred Hospital - The Palm Beaches, Riviera Beach, FL.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on May 2, 1958 and was the daughter of Joseph M. and Winifred C. (Fox) Kopesky. She attended local schools and received her Associates Degree in business from Gateway Technical College.
On September 18, 1993, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Jon “Jay” Gyurina.
Jane was employed for 15 years in economic support with Kenosha County.
Jane liked traveling, going to casinos, bicycling, gardening; especially vegetables and canning, and she was a fantastic cook. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Stephen King novels, and was a Kentucky Derby fan.
She is survived by her husband, Jon “Jay” Gyurina; her parents, Joseph and Winifred Kopesky; her siblings, Kathleen (Bradley) Matthews, Peggy Guibault and Tina (Fernando “Dito”) Llanas; many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Jane was further survived by her mother-in-law, Joyce E. Gyurina; her brothers-in-law, Dr. Jeffrey and Joseph Gyurina; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Hubbard, Jill Fulmer and Dr. Jana Gyurina-Bever.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, John W. Gyurina; her brother-in-law, Paul Guibault; and her niece, Lauren Hubbard.

Jim CostanzoJane was a caring, loving and sweet person who didn’t have a harsh word to say about anyone. She had a soft voice, a friendly smile and a “happy go lucky” spirit. Jane was a special part of our life since she married one of my best friends Jay in 1993. She treated our kids as if they were her own as she was the Godmother to one of them and a “stand in” Godmother to another as only Janie could be. Janie, you left us way too soon. But the positive and special memories that you leave each one of us will never go away. And especially for my wife and for me the memories of your kindness toward our children as they grew up! Jan AnthonsenI was so shocked to see that Jane had passed. I met Jane when we worked together at Universal Mortgage. We had so many laughs together. Jane was always smiling and laughing. We called each other cousins because Jane said years ago her family changed their name from Rompesky which is my maiden name to Kopesky. Jay I'm sorry for your loss and for Janes family.

Jon while you are healing from the loss of a loved one, God will comfort you (2 Corinthians 7:6). The Bible tells us that God is the father of mercies and that He will comfort us in all our tribulations (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Be assured that God loves you and that He understands how much you are hurting. God promises you in Isaiah 43:2 that when you go through deep waters and great trouble, He will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Run to the shelter of the Most High where you will find sweet rest (Psalm 91:1-2).

She was a light and I will remember the many laughs and enjoyable time we shared. I was always lucky enough at the holidays to recive some of her baked goodies! Yes she was a very good baker and cook. So Sad that she is gone too soon. There will always be a hole unfilled for her. Please accept my heartfelt Sympathy and Saddness for all.
