Dawn Marie Johnson, age 50 of Kenosha, died peacefully on May 23, 2017 at United Hospital Systems – Kenosha Hospital Campus.

She was born on October 28, 1966 in Kenosha, and was the precious daughter of LeRoy and Myrtle (Baker) Johnson.  Dawn was a student at Jane Vernon and Columbus Schools.

Dawn was a dedicated employee of the Kenosha Achievement Center. She was a member of Somers Community United Church of Christ.  Dawn found great joy in watching Mr. Rogers and loved to bowl with the Rollin’ Bowlers.

Dawn will always be remembered by her loving parents, LeRoy and Myrtle Johnson; her sister, Julie (Tom) Harper; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services honoring Dawn’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Somers Community United Church of Christ, 9918 12th Street. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
