William L. Jensen, Jr., age 97 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Aurora Medical Center.

Born in Racine on February 15, 1920, he was the son of the late William and Marion (Silver) Jensen.

During World War II, he honorably served in the United States 8th Air Force. He was stationed in Africa and after four years of service, he was honorably discharged on October 28, 1945.

On August 22, 1964, he was united in marriage to Rae Wesner. Their union was blessed with two sons, James and Robert, whom he was very proud of.

He was employed as a quality control engineer with Chrysler Corporation, retiring in 1985.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rae Jensen; and his son, James Jensen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Jensen; and his brother, Howard Jensen.

    I worked with with Bill at Chrysler. He teased me, we never had a dull moment. I purchased a crib from you years ago, Rae. Time goes so fast, but I have very good memories about Bill and you, Rae.

    Rae, sorry for your loss. Bill was quite the character. I think of both of you often, even after all the years that have gone by. You two left an impression with me of what life should be, full of love and good times. I always looked forward to serving you at "Big Boy" restaraunt.
