Judy A. Schmidt, age 72 of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at her residence.
Born in Oshkosh, WI on October 14, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Dallas and Gertrude (Menghini) Baker. She attended Bradford High School.
On April 18, 1964 at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to Dale Schmidt.
She was employed as an assistant manager with Crazy Horse and IB Diffusion.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being involved and supporting her children and grandchildren’s sports activities. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed collecting dolls, Hummel’s and Christmas villages. Judy enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and going to movies with her family.
She will always be remembered by her loving husband, Dale Schmidt; her three sons, Dale (Jennifer), Craig (Kristina) and Kurt (Jody) Schmidt; her beautiful grandchildren, Alexander, Bryce, Samantha and Tyler Schmidt and Quentin Beesley.
Judy is further survived by her four sisters, Patricia Jenkins, Shirley Salica, Kathleen Piantek and Christine Baker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Carter Schmidt; her two brothers, Douglas and Peter Baker; and her four sisters, Carol Jean, Delaine, Lillian, and Betty.

Funeral Services honoring Judy’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

Geron VerevilleFirst time I met cousin Judy was in 1956. Thought she was the prettiest girl, I wanted a picture to show my friends back in Michigan. Just become friends on FB last year after so many lost years. Was hoping to reconnect this summer. I was born 7 months after Judy. Too young mto say goodbye cuz! Geron
