Sharon L. Ostman, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 with her husband nearby.
Born on February 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Greenwood.
On June 29, 1968, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Ostman in Wilton, MN. Sharon was an angel to Gib and now she officially earned her wings.
She began employment as a Nursing Assistant with St. Catherine’s Hospital and then with various nursing homes. Sharon was an Assistant Manager for McDonalds for 18 years, until her retirement.
Sharon and Gib loved to watch college football and baseball. They took several trips to Las Vegas and Canada and she loved going to casinos.
She is survived by her loving husband Gib of 53 years; her grandson, Aaron; her great grandson, Jordan; her brothers, Charles (Betty) Greenwood and Joe (Fran) Greenwood; her brother-in-law, Robert (Helen) Ostman; her pet dog, Tony; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Jason who passed away in 1994.

Funeral services honoring Sharon’s life will be held privately.

Interment will take place in All Saints Cemetery.
A visitation for Sharon will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to public health concerns, and in compliance with CDC guidelines, only 50 people will be permitted to enter the funeral home at one time. For the safety of our guests, you may be asked to wait outside. Social distancing will be maintained and those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.

I remember how you always mentioned Sharon with affection. 2020 has been a horrible year. I lost my husband to Covid the day before Thanksgiving. May you find comfort in the happiness that you shared.
