Therese Michell O’Neal, age 49, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska on December 29, 1971, she was the daughter of Robert and Geraldine (Mason) Hodge.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, Texas and was a strong and intelligent woman.

Therese was blessed with three children, James Michael Taylor, Sierra Smith and Leon Smith, Jr..

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Therese is survived by her parents, Robert (Geraldine) Hodge; her children, James Michael Taylor, Sierra Smith and Leon Smith, Jr.; her former husband, Leon Smith; her siblings, Roberta Young, Ruth Maren Leu and John Mason Hodge.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert A. Hodge, her paternal grandmother, Gwenith Marie Betenson, her maternal grandfather, John Mason; and her maternal grandmother, Maren Mason.
