Robert “Bob” Carl Klossner, age 95, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Froedtert South- Kenosha Hospital.

Born on December 2, 1925, in Barron, WI, Bob was the son of the late William and Lillie (Siewert) Klossner, and a brother to 8 siblings. He attended both Loveland and Whittier Schools in the Barron area.

Bob worked with his family dairy farming until he joined the army in 1949.   He was a veteran and proudly served in the U. S. Army and Army reserves from 1949 until his honorable discharge in 1954. He served 9 months overseas in Japan assisting with the post WWII reconstruction.

He was a proud UAW member and made his career working at Nash Motor Company, (American Motors) from which he retired. Bob’s career in the automotive industry fostered a life-long interest in cars. He attended various car events including meetings of the Nash Car Club and was always known to take pride in his personal vehicles.

As he had a flare for drawing, in his younger years, he was known to draw portraits at the Wisconsin state fair for $1.

In Kenosha, Bob was actively involved in community service thru the Fraternal Order of Eagles & Kenosha Moose Lodge (both fraternal and charitable organizations). Through these organizations he received commendations and recognition for his generosity and service to the community. Up to the end of his life he was a warm, engaging, kind man and will be missed.

Bob is survived by his siblings, Louise, Hilda, Laura and Emil and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Bob in death are his parents and his siblings: Florence, Arnold, Helen and Fred.
