Jeffery “Jeff” John Bruenning, age 46, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Born on March 4, 1975, he was the son of Edward and Susan (Zurek) Bruenning. He attended Mary D. Bradford High School and then enjoyed a career in the tree care/landscape business.
He was a member of the Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church. Jeff enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Edward Bruenning; his brother, Eric Bruenning; his sister, Kimberly (Timothy) Bruenning-Lewis and his nephew, Jack Lewis.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Susan (Zurek) Bruenning and his grandparents, John (Emily) Bruenning and Stanley (Angela) Zurek.

A Celebration of Life for Jeff will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church, 12323 Green Bay Rd, Pleasant Prairie, WI.

I meet Jeff when he came to our church ( Kenosha United Christian Church) a few times to be with Jeff, Lexi, and Dillon. I always enjoyed seeing him and he was so nice and always had a smile on his face. He and Rich did some tree removal at our house and they sure Know how to take a tree down!! At 46 it has to be difficult to have a son pass but I know that being with the Lord its not good bye but it’s “see you later”. I know how special Jeff’s family was to him he talked about his nephew a lot! Jeff really seemed to like kids and always enjoyed being around them, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jeff was a very special person. He will be missed.
