Shaylynn (Sterba) WilliamsThere were times I came over looking for Cassie (daughter) & ended up staying for Laurie. We had long conversations during those times and I always left feeling happy. Over the years of being a younger family friend, it was obvious Laurie & Mike unofficially fostered those in need... be it neighborhood friends or their children's friends. She took the time to listen to my stories/papers for school or watch our choreographed line dances we worked so hard on as kids. She was fun, caring and it was always a treat when she "decided" (convinced into) coming in the pool with us :) I truly look forward to seeing her again (Isaiah 26:19) under the best of conditions (Psalm 37:29) <3
